Due to “ongoing demand for the destination,” Scenic has expanded its Japan 2023 programme for the discovery yacht Scenic Eclipse.
The schedule now includes additional sailings, three of which visit more than six first-time ports of call in Japan and the Aleutian Islands, including Hachinohe, Shimizu, Muroran, and Sakaiminato.
The new itineraries for the 228-passenger ship include stops at Hakodate, Aomori, Sado Island, Kanazawa, Maizuru, Sakaiminato, and Hagi while sailing from Otaru to Busan, South Korea. The 12-day itinerary’s departure schedule will be on 2nd June 2023.
The Iconic Japan: Sacred Cultures & Natures Voyage itinerary, which departs from Busan to Otaru and stops at Matsuyama, Shingu, Shimizu, Tokyo, Hachinohe, and Muroran, is available in other locations.
The new Scenic Enrich excursion, which allows guests to participate in a Shinto ceremony, is included in the schedule. The 12-day itinerary’s departure scheduled is on 11th June 2023.
Additionally, the Japan and Aleutian Islands Voyage makes stops in 55 smaller and 14 volcanic Aleutian Islands while sailing from Otaru to Nome, Alaska. The 21-day itinerary will depart on 11th July 2023.
