Loganair has reinstated a flight between Aberdeen and Oslo in an effort to appeal to tourists and business travelers in the energy sector.
There will be six weekly flights, with one-way prices beginning at £79.
The year-round route, which was previously served by SAS, is now being flown year-round by the regional carrier using a 49-seat Embraer 145 regional jet.
Following the resumption of flights from Edinburgh to Bergen and Stavanger in June as a result of the pandemic, Oslo from Aberdeen is Loganair’s most recent international connection to Norway this year.
Luke Lovegrove, the chief operations officer, stated: “We’re delighted to restore the important Aberdeen-Oslo route today.
“We know it’s been hugely missed by the business community and are confident it will support growth and strengthen ties between the north-east of Scotland and Norway.”
