Tunisair will begin flying from Stansted in the spring of next year, connecting the Essex airport with Tunisia’s capital.
According to Air Journal, two weekly flights to Tunis will begin on 28th March, replacing a twice-weekly service to Gatwick. Until then, the carrier will continue to fly to Gatwick.
The Stansted flight will leave at 17.55 on Mondays and Thursdays, arriving in Tunis at 20.55. The trip to the United Kingdom departs at 13.50 and arrives at 16.55.
The capital of Tunisia is known for its Roman ruins, the Bardo museum, and the neighboring beaches.
Tunisair’s Heathrow flights will be maintained during both seasons. It runs twice a week at the moment.
