In order to launch the doors of its fourth London hotel in Shepherd’s Bush, The Hoxton has traveled across town to establish roots in the vibrant center of one of the capital’s most diverse neighborhoods. The hotel, which is situated on the northern edge of Shepherd’s Bush Green, has 237 retro-inspired guest rooms, the Thai-Americana restaurant Chet’s, which serves fiery flavors, spicy shakes, and natural wines, a private terrace, a large open lobby with a mixture of custom-made furniture in earthy tones and vintage 70s pieces, and a spectacular central bar. The Apartment meeting and events area is to the right of the foyer, while Plastic Freedom’s first physical location is housed in a standalone retail space.
With its design-driven, community-focused hotels now in east, south, central, and west London, The Hoxton, Shepherd’s Bush is an exciting addition to the hotel chain.
The interiors were created by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house design studio. The public spaces evoke retro transport design, and the symmetry and color schemes come from the TFL archives in the nearby London Transport Museum Depot. Decorative glass chandeliers and pendants adorned with mixed metals offer a touch of glitz, while iconic railway carriage shapes and aesthetics add to the design’s fun.
