The two-day Rockies to the Red Rocks journey aboard the Rocky Mountaineer which operates services between Moab, Utah, and Denver will now run until 19th November 2021. The train operator has added carriages to increase capacity on the 16 new departure dates that have been added to the schedule. The US journey includes an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Any guest impacted by the delayed start to the Canadian itineraries will be offered two choices. Passengers can either take a future travel credit which will be worth 110% of the original amount paid or transfer their booking to the new route in the US. The operator has also reassured customers that it will not increase prices in 2021 and 2022 and will maintain pricing at the same rates offered in 2020.
Rocky Mountaineer said in a statement: “Understanding some guests may be hesitant to select a new travel date immediately, Rocky Mountaineer has added greater flexibility to its bookings, which allows guests to change their departure dates, or people on the booking, up to 30 days ahead of travel, without charge or penalty.”
