The Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote, is now open and is situated on Costa Teguise with expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean. The resort joins two Radisson Blu resorts in Gran Canaria as the first properties of the Radisson Hotel Group to be built on the island. The hotel is committed to sustainability, and all of its daytime energy needs are met by solar panels.
Holidaymakers may visit the island’s many attractions, such as the Jameos del Agua volcanic caves, Timanfaya National Park, or Lanzarote’s capital, Arrecife, from the Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote, and take advantage of the island’s year-round sunshine. Visitors are immediately stunned by the resort’s great oceanfront location and stunning vistas upon arrival.
Playa Bastián, a well-known beach, and the Lanzarote Promenade, the longest promenade in the world at more than 26 kilometers, are both just a short stroll away. Both are ideal locations for picturesque coastal hikes. Numerous clubs and eateries can be found in the nearby Pueblo Marinero district, which is also home to the popular Las Cucharas beach for water sports.
Following a comprehensive year-long restoration, the facility now has contemporary coastal architecture and interior design that are inspired by the volcanic scenery of Lanzarote. The hotel also makes considerable use of natural materials like wood, particularly in the lobby and restaurants. Visitors may get the best ocean views possible from every part of the hotel because to the way the structure was constructed.
13 of the 225 guest rooms at the Radisson Blu Resort in Lanzarote are swim up suites, providing guests with direct access to the pool. All of the guest suites have terraces. Four sizable heated swimming pools and a health center with a gym and spa are available as recreational options.
Italian, buffet-style eating, local delicacies, and other culinary experiences are all available at the resort’s three restaurants, all of which have sea views. The greatest seasonal Canarian food is combined with classic Italian cuisine at Sesto Senso. Maar serves scrumptious tapas, poke bowls, and salads in a laid-back beach club atmosphere whereas Tremor is a buffet restaurant with regional and international cuisine.
When it comes to using renewable energy to heat water, run the air conditioning system, and heat the resort’s swimming pools, Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote is dedicated to the Radisson Hotel Group’s Net Zero policy. Additionally, the hotel has a “zero plastic” policy and has received Travelife certification in recognition of its sustainability accomplishments.
The Radisson Hotel Group opened its eighth hotel in Spain with the opening of the Radisson Blu Resort, Lanzarote, with a goal of tripling its portfolio there by 2025.
