Norwegian Escape, a Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) ship, has completed its first eastern Mediterranean journey since 2015.
The ship is docked in Rome for the summer and provides sailings ranging from seven to eleven nights. It is the first Breakaway-plus class yacht to sail in Europe for a full season.
Calls are made at ports in Italy, Greece, Malta, and France.
This summer, eight NCL ships are traveling in European waters, including the Norwegian Prima, the line’s first Prima Class vessel.
Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Gateway, Norwegian Jade, and Norwegian Star will join Norwegian Prima.
NCL President and CEO Harry Sommer stated: “Europe has always been a bucket-list destination for travelers from all over the globe and is a key cruise destination for NCL.
“We strive to offer our new and loyal guests a wide range of destinations and itineraries. We’re excited that this year’s Europe season is our most extensive to date, with eight ships and more than 100 ports of call.”
