With airlines scrambling for revenue everywhere they can, we’ve seen a slew of new airline lounges added to Priority Pass, which is fantastic for those with high-end credit cards.
A few Lufthansa lounges in the United States have joined Priority Pass, which could come in handy during your next layover.
Priority Pass also has access to four Lufthansa lounges in the United States, but with restricted hours.
In the United States, the only Lufthansa Business Lounge that is not part of Priority Pass is in Boston. For background, Priority Pass has had the Detroit lounge for a long time, while the other additions are recent.
It’s fantastic to see that Priority Pass now has four Lufthansa lounges in the United States. This is a logical step on Lufthansa’s side, as it provides additional revenue while keeping lounges open at a time when demand is poor.
When international travel resumes, it is expect that Lufthansa will either terminate its agreement with Priority Pass or simply extend lounge hours, allowing Priority Pass members access when Star Alliance passengers are not.
