The first European vacation hotel from Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will debut this summer in Mallorca.
The Kimpton Aysla Mallorca is a year-round hotel located in Santa Ponsa, 14 kilometers from Palma de Mallorca and 20 minutes from its airport.
The 79 rooms of the Guillermo Reynés-designed Kimpton Aysla Mallorca are arranged around patios in the traditional Majorcan manner. The color scheme includes natural materials, neutral tones, and subtle turquoise accents in textiles and soft furnishings.
The accommodations include floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, rain showers, separate bathtubs, and free access to the spa.
Two restaurants and two bars will be located in Kimpton Aysla Mallorca, and there will be an evening social hour where guests are invited to mingle.
There are also a number of workshops with local island craftsmen scheduled. These include visits to a nearby workshop that creates handcrafted Majorcan artisanal shoes, and they are intended to inform visitors about local customs. Visitors can learn about the island’s crafts and leave with a pair that is uniquely theirs.

Road cycling, early workouts, facilitated meditation, and yoga classes are among the wellness and fitness activities. The hotel also features a spa called Maison Codage Paris, which includes seven treatment rooms, a salt cave, a sauna, and two outdoor swimming pools.

In 2022, the Kimpton brand intends to debut seven new locations throughout the world, including its first hotel in Bali. Over the next three to five years, properties will also be developed in Germany, Mexico, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands.
