Grenada will remove all restrictions and Anguilla will no longer require authorization for vaccinated immigrants, according to two more Caribbean islands that have announced a relaxing of its Covid-19 travel policies.
From 4th April, all Covid restrictions, including entry restrictions for unvaccinated travelers, will be lifted in the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique.
On arrival, no tests, evidence of immunization, or documents are required.
Grenada’s health ministry’s chief medical officer, Dr Shawn Charles, said: “Grenada is at a stage where we can consider the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, even though we are aware that the pandemic is not yet over. We’re delighted to be able to offer all travellers a seamless and easy travel experience and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to our beautiful islands.”
Masks will no longer be required and will instead be an option.
On Friday (1st April), Anguilla’s new entrance procedures will take effect.
All properly vaccinated visitors aged 18 and up will no longer be required to apply for entry to the island using the travel portal at www.ivisitanguilla.com.
They’ll also require documentation of complete vaccination and a negative Covid-19 test.
Adults and minors who have not received a booster dose are subject to pre-arrival testing at their own expense and must provide a verified negative pre-arrival test result. The cost of the test is $50.
Visitors under the age of 18 are only allowed if they are accompanied by properly vaccinated travelers.
Unvaccinated travelers who have been granted a medical exemption must apply online, test upon arrival, quarantine for five days, and have a negative test result before leaving quarantine. The cost per person is $100.
