Greece no longer requires visitors who test positive for Covid while visiting to be quarantined.
Previously, the vacation spot forced every visitor who tested positive for the virus to stay five days alone in a dedicated quarantine hotel.
But now that the Greek government has decreed that hotel quarantine rooms are no longer required, infected travelers are not compelled to self-isolate.
It will be up to each visitor to determine if they want to continue living alone.
Additionally, as long as they wear an FFP2 or KN95 face mask, infected travelers will be able to take public transportation, such as an aircraft or ferry.
Greece is lifting the regulations, according to epidemiologist Christos Hatzichristodoulou, to bring its Covid limits into line with those of the rest of northern Europe.
On 1st May, Greece abolished all entrance criteria, allowing travelers to enter the nation without presenting documentation of their immunizations, recuperation, or a negative Covid test.
