The quickest route from Paddington Station to Heathrow Airport is the Heathrow Express, which is currently 10% cheaper if you have an AMEX card. Since this is a cashback deal, you can stack it with other Heathrow Express promotions to maximize your savings. To start receiving cashback, go to offers in your AMEX app or statement and select “save to card.”
The Heathrow Express starts at £25 one way and £37 round trip without the discount. You might save £2.50 on a single and £3.70 on a return with the discount. But if you order in early online, you can get a single for as cheap as £5.50.
A free first class upgrade is available on the Heathrow Express if you have Gold Status with any Star Alliance airline. A 1-2 arrangement, more legroom, and AC/USB ports are all to your advantage. Present both your ordinary ticket and your Gold card.
Additionally, if you are a British Airways Gold guest list member, you will receive an upgrade. Standard Gold BA cards are NOT eligible, so please be aware of that.
Tickets in first class start at £37 one way and £55 roundtrip. On a single ticket, you could save £15.70, and on a return, you could save £23.50 thanks to the 10% discount and free upgrade.
When you purchase your ticket through the BA Executive club portal, you may earn an additional 5 Avios for every £1 you spend with Heathrow Express.
