Finnair has created a new ‘Business Light’ ticket type to its business class lineup.
The Business Light ticket, according to Finnair, is designed for leisure travelers who desire to travel in business class with only carry-on luggage.
They can upgrade to get access to a lounge or onboard internet.
The airline has also refreshed its existing ticket classes, Light, Classic, and Flex, which are all accessible on business and economy short-haul flights, as well as most long-haul flights.
Finnair’s most popular ticket is the Classic, which includes one checked bag. Customers who choose the Classic, on the other hand, will have more freedom in making changes to their trip dates starting Tuesday (June 15).
They simply have to pay the difference between the original and the replacement ticket.
Customers must cover the possible difference between the previous and new rates when changing their tickets to the Flex ticket, which is entirely flexible and refundable.
Customers who purchase a flex ticket after 15th June will not be eligible for airport priority services.
Finnair’s chief commercial officer, Ole Orvér, said: “There is an increasing need to personalize the travel experience, and our new ticket type offers business class customers fantastic additional choices.
“We want to provide our customer’s flights which work for them, and so we will be introducing even more choice and personalization in the future as we restart our routes and prepare to ramp up our operations.”
