During the October half-term, Emirates will run a third daily flight between Gatwick and Dubai.
The trip, which will use a wide-body Boeing 777, will leave Dubai at 2.40 am and land at Gatwick at 7.10 am. Returning passengers should expect to arrive in Dubai at 7.35 p.m. local time after leaving Gatwick at 9.30 a.m.
The service will be offered every day from 15th October to 29th October. The airline claimed that by adding more frequency, it will “meet the strong demand for travel during the school midterm break and provide passengers traveling to/from London with improved connectivity.”
The route will “accommodate Emirates passengers affected by the capacity modifications at London Heathrow,” it was further said.
Currently, the airline has nine daily flights to London: two flights per day to Gatwick, six flights per day to Heathrow, and one flight per day to Stansted.
