Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, both in California, will reopen next month.
Access will restricted to California residents and there will be capacity limitations imposed. The venues will follow new “guiding principles” to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Enhanced cleaning practises, strict social distancing, and reduced contact are among the mitigation measured being adopted by the parks.
Reservations must be made in advance and visitors over the agent of two, as well as all cast members and employees, will be required to wear masks. Entry to some areas of the park will be subject to temperature checks.
Disney has stated that visitors’ experiences may vary from what they are used to, and that certain attractions, experiences, and services may be limited or unavailable.
Parades and night time spectaculars will resume at a later date while Extra Magic and Magic Morning hours will be suspended when the park re-opens. Character meet-and-greets will also be absent.
The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa will reopen on 29th April, followed by the two theme parks on 30th April as part of a phased reopening in California.
Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel are set to reopen at a later date that has yet to be determined. The Downtown Disney District has now resumed operations.
