Fosun, the largest Chinese travel company, is introducing its Casa Cook hotel brand to Mykonos.
Near June, tourists will be able to visit Casa Cook Mykonos, which is located in Ornos Bay. The adults-only hotel, with 26 rooms, is the brand’s smallest to date.
Thomas Cook started the brand in Rhodes in 2016 before selling it to Fosun following Cook’s bankruptcy in September 2019. Since then, it has opened in El Gouna and along Egypt’s north shore, and Fosun has also exported the brand to China.
“The island of Mykonos, with its blend of traditional charm and modern vibe, is the perfect fit for the Casa Cook brand,” Vice-president of the Fosun Tourism Grousays, Alessandro Dassi said.
Dassi went on to say: “Through our holistic approach to minimalist design and laid-back luxury style, Casa Cook Mykonos will bring a new definition of luxury to one of the world’s most glamorous destinations.”For the project, Fosun has teamed up with More Meni Boutique Hotels.
Chief Executive Gavriil Karathomas said, “We are thrilled to partner with the Casa Cook brand to create a one-of-a-kind hotel on the incredible island of Mykonos.”
“With this project, we wanted to bring a totally new and fresh take on the luxury lifestyle that this island is so well known for, and for us the Casa Cook brand was the perfect match.”
