BA Euroflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways, will commence flight operations on 2nd November with a twice-weekly schedule, which will later increase to three flights per week in 2024. This expansion will include Fuerteventura as the fourth Canary Island served by the airline, joining Tenerife, Lanzarote, and Gran Canaria.
The flights to Fuerteventura will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, utilizing a combination of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. Starting from 28th February 2024, an additional flight will be introduced on Wednesdays.
Known for its stunning dune beaches, Fuerteventura is the second largest Canary Island and attracts water sports enthusiasts throughout the year. Surfing, sailing, and windsurfing are particularly favored due to the favorable conditions.
Economy return fares start at £129, while those booked before 18th June can benefit from a special offer starting from £114.
Passengers have the option to choose the Club Europe business class, which provides exclusive benefits such as access to pre-flight lounges, increased personal space, a full meal with bar drinks, and additional baggage allowance.
Tom Stoddart, the chief executive of BA Euroflyer, expressed his excitement about the new route. “Adding Fuerteventura means we now fly to the four largest Canary Islands, which are great options for families, couples and friends alike.”
“Fuerteventura enjoys warm weather year-round, so it is a great option for those looking for winter sunshine without travelling further afield.”
The seventh new service to be introduced to Euroflyer’s route network this year is to Fuerteventura. The airline recently announced new winter services to Sharm El Sheikh and Innsbruck in addition to new summer flights to Montpellier, Corfu, Mykonos, and Salzburg.
