Emerald Airlines, which operates Aer Lingus Regional services, has begun selling tickets for flights departing from Belfast City Airport.
Flights to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Glasgow, and Exeter are available.
Birmingham will begin service on 24th March; Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, and Manchester will begin service on 27th March; and Glasgow and Exeter will begin service in early May.
Flights can be booked through Aer Lingus and British Airways as part of a codeshare agreement, and customers can earn Avios reward points.
Emerald Airlines’ chief executive, Conor McCarthy, said: “We’re keen to build upon our announcement today, with more flights, destinations, and great fares to follow in the very near future.”
Belfast City Airport and Emerald Airlines have formed a long-term collaboration, which has resulted in the new routes.
As Covid regulations loosen, the airport’s chief executive, Matthew Hall, says the facility is experiencing an increase in demand for travel.
The Aer Lingus and British Airways services from Belfast City to London City and Heathrow remain unaffected.
